It was pretty dignified at our local wholesaler this morning and I got the wife a 12 bottle box of Chang for 584 baht without having to fight for it plus something for myself. Very busy, many farangs mostly buying wine, beer and spirits. It's not an ideal place for buying beer so I went on to Soi 17 where there are two wholesalers next to each other, The big one was closed completely, and the smaller one had no beer left. This was around midday. A wholesaler on Thepprasit I tried was also completely out of beer, but I found another one in Jomtien that still had a decent supply so I got five cases of SML. That little lot should keep me going for a few days.
