Popular Post snoop1130
Pattaya blocks all access to beaches to avoid second wave By The Nation In a move to prevent a second wave of infections, Pattaya City has decided to block all access to beaches despite the easing of restrictions. Jeerawat Sukontasub, chief of the Pattaya Municipality, said municipal authorities and local agencies have blocked nine beach entrances, including the two leading to the 2-kilometre-long Pattaya Beach. Access to Jomtien, Phra Tamnak, Cozy, Wong Amat and Krating Rai beaches as well as Lan Pho Nakluea Park and the Bali Hai Pier has been blocked. The areas will be strictly closed off from May 9 to 31 from 9am to 9pm daily and officers will be on standby to keep an eye. Violators will be let off with a warning the first time, but repeat offenders will face a heavy penalty. Popular Post Oldie
From 9 am to 9 pm the beach is closed now. If I take the curfew into account from 10 pm to 4 am does this mean that from 4 am to 9 am and from 9 pm to 10 pm the beach can be used without any limitations? Should be like this or? 8 3 1

Popular Post brokenbone
i think the opposite should be evaluated: hers my thinking, the filthy beach of pattaya will demand a very high resistance for survival, those who can survive in the waters here will have developed cells that are indifferent to virus Edited May 7, 2020 by brokenbone 8

Popular Post Thunder26
This beach ban is as ridiculous as the ban that was imposed on alcohol. Cases of COVID-19 are close to 0, however the government chooses to destroy the economy and the livelihood of the people who really depend on it. I personally know a family in Pattaya where both partners lost their jobs due to the virus. They have a mortgage and a car leasing to pay. Their pathetic 5000 Baht help is useless, especially when you can't get it. By keeping the restrictions in this situation is utterly stupid and unproductive. The risck of getting the virus is very low while the borders are closed. I don't know what the Thai government is waiting? They should let people work as normal and encourage local tourism for now. Money flow is very important so people could feel secure again. 17

It's what happen on normal days. That shouldn't be a risk at the moment as there are almost no cases in Thailand. This over protection becomes close to fascism. There's nothing wrong with people hanging with their families in the open air on the beach. Normally families stick to themsleves and don't mix up with other families. I don't see a problem here. Whatever the officials want is not a good argument. They could want a lot of things, that are sometimes unreasonable and annoying, especially now with almost 0 cases!

Stop it, the thought that it may be true does my head in. Remember, these are the same people that spent 400 million on sand for Pattaya beach, which got swept away in a storm the next day. Actually it’s safe to go to the beach, so long as you count the waves, only the second one is infectious. 2
Popular Post redwood1
People dont really care if the beach is open or not they will use it if they want to.....If they are waiting for 100% compliance every day by every last person in Pattaya.....Well then the beach might never open again EVER... There have been people on the beach every day for the last month and there will continue to be people on the beach...
