Bystanders in Buri Ram’s Nong Rong district ran for cover when there was a hail of bullets as police officers tried to stop a drug dealer’s black pick-up truck on Monday (May 11).

After chasing the vehicle for 10 kilometres, they managed to bring the truck to a standstill by shooting all its tyres, though the offender remained unfazed and continued shooting back.

The incident was recorded on video by one of the officers, who eventually managed to arrest the suspect, known only as Kangsaranon, 30, and seize his cargo of drugs.

Why don't the police or the military use spike strips to take out the vehicles tires so no hail of bullets going down range don't hit an unsuspecting villager or farmer.....Image result for Spike StripStinger Spike Systems Replacement …

Behave yourself, no fun in that, much more melodramatic, chasing suspects and trying to shoot out the tyres.????:cheesy:

Remember the time plod tried shooting tyres a couple of years ago, and shot each other?

Crossfire? More than that, they were livid.

Amazing Thailand! I am confident that the suspect was a 'real suspect' and they arrested him safely... but this happened TODAY and one of the officers involved has his video on social media, plus the driver's registration! Fair trial? I think not!

And can anyone remember them saying a year or two ago that the 'crime re-enactments' were illegal and had to be stopped? Well, that didn't last long, did it?

Meh, this would work better il_fullxfull.684620984_8yms.jpg

One mob taking another mobs stash in the style of the wild west by the look of things????

If I would see a chase with a shooting, for sure I wouldn´t follow the cars as the Thais do. Driving to the side and wait till it´s safe for me is the best option.
