German man found unconscious in woods after driving off following argument with Thai wife

A German man has been found unconscious in the woods of a wildlife protection area in Uthai Thani in central Thailand.

 

A bottle of medications was found next to Marcel F. 

 

He is now in Uthai Thani Hospital.

 

Bright TV reported that the case came to light last Thursday afternoon when a Honda car with Suphanburi plates was found locked and abandoned near the entrance to Prathun Cave wildlife sanctuary. 

 

Farmers told officials that they had seen a man but by evening he had not returned and police were called. 

 

Police investigations revealed that the car was registered to a man called Chartchai in Suphanburi who was contacted and said that a German man married to a female relative had disappeared.

 

The couple had argued and the German had taken off in his car.

 

The car was returned to Chartchai and Wandee the next day. Nothing was missing. 

 

The search for the missing German continued on Friday and on Saturday it was stepped up amid fears that he had come to harm. 

 

A 500 meter radius search was conducted using a fine tooth comb and finally at 11 am on Saturday the German was found unconscious next to the medication. 

 

He was initially taken to Nong Chang hospital and thence transferred to Uthai Thani Hospital.

 

Bright TV gave no further details.

Do you think he would be better than Poirot??  But I just adore the fine 'tooth comb' bit.'  Can't you just see them all on their knees with their combs.  Actually I think it's more Holmes.
