It's worth talking to your local PEA office to check.

Well I think we're on to something.

Went to the PEA office and was told the discount doesn't apply to companies, and they also can't get back their meter deposit.

So I explained to them that I'm private so why I'm registered as company.

Answer was because I have a 50 Kva transformer according to their survey.

Well then there must have been an error in the survey, because I have only a 30 Kva single phase transformer.

Now that changed the whole situation, as I then would be considered as a private person and eligible to all the discounts, so a new survey will be done in the future.

When asked if I get then refunded for past overcharges, the answer was positive. I understand that every one get a 40 Baht or so surcharge for the meter every month, while as a company that is 312 Baht. Probably unit price is also different.

So I look forward to a new survey and some refunds for the past 9 years.

Now the bigger question................which colour the Lambo gonna be

Yes you can ask the refund. Go to PEA website (need to read thai),enter I.D card number and bank account number of your wife. Need to know the numbers of your meter, they appear on the bill.

correct and no problem getting it

Thank God we live in a condo now, on the outskirts of BKK, and directly get the bill. I gotta sleep with the air con on.

840 baht, 800 baht discount, 40 baht due. Wooooo!

Previously, I had been out in an apartment complex in Issan, where the landlady reads the meters and tacks on what she feels like to the rent. A few times the wife caught her being way off, like when we had been away 1-2 weeks. Even then, I was paying around 2000 baht for electric. ????

You should have paid for the consumption you had in the February bill, + 50% on the consumption over 800 units = 310/2 = 155 units.

I paid everything in full the same day I get the bill, up to now I've not seen the discounts if it is there it is so minimal I keep a tight track on my bill this month is was the only time I even seen a reduction my average each month is 900-1100 units for the first time as I noted 299 baht was my reduction.????????️
