Stallion CT 400 SE scrambler is very similar. Just 99K.

I see thats a shame. Despite its issues I do like the look of that crf450l

 

But ok, yes that klx250 might be a decent option, its cheaper, and available. Might be just the bike I am looking for.

 

I am figuring daily run-about, weekend adventures in the mountains/to the sea.

 

I dont think I want a standard because the roads can be iffy in places, I thought a dual sport might be good, though not that comfy after an hour or so ...
