Transit in same airport in Tokoy?

Has anyone had the experience of flying transit through Tokyo and changing planes in the same airport? Wondering what their current policies are.

 

I might fly BKK to the U.S. via Tokyo in near future.

I did it last year and went into the city for a few hours between flights. But that was before covid.

Sure I bet you can do it but dont expect to come back to Thailand any time soon....

The info here does not mention transiting. It only states they cannot enter Japan.

I assume you are a US citizen.

Then, sure you can transit at the airport and continue to the US.
