The woman who allegedly murdered her father and cut off his genitals will be sent to Galya Rajanagarindra Institute to be screened for mental illness because she has been quite incoherent, police said.

“I slept well last night and I want those in the child prostitution business to be punished. Covering evidence turns good guys bad,” was one of the statements Boonyada Chanchuang made on Thursday (June 18).

Pol Lieutenant Praphaporn Sonsoy from the Thung Song Hong police station said she has not gained any useful information from the 29-year-old suspect and investigators have decided to send her off to the institute to check her mental condition.

The suspect had initially been admitted to Srithanya Hospital, where doctors said her mental illness was not serious and that she can face action for patricide.

Meanwhile, the suspect’s stepfather Songtham, 59, visited Boonyada in jail and said her mental state had worsened. He said she called him a rapist and accused him of raping her 10-year-old daughter, when in reality the crime had been committed by her boyfriend.

Her mother, identified as Jiaranai, making funeral preparations for her ex-husband Kasem Boonyachon. The rites will be held on June 20 in Pathum Thani.

Had she been abused by her father ?

If so , her actions are eventually comprehensible ...

If not , she should be well looked after , she seems to be deeply traumatized ...

We read of child molestation often in Thailand, but I've rarely read of it in my native UK. Of course it happens, but in Thailand we read of it happening every week.

She should be well looked after but male nurses are not volunteering for the assignment.

With stainless steel underwear it's OK. She has obviously been traumatized by one or a number of events that have just surfaced from the subconscious and is now mentally unstable and dangerous (no, I know I am not a psychiatrist, just my 5 Bahts worth)

It seems that child rape is ubiquitous in Thailand. If not the father, brother or grandfather it is an uncle or mother's boyfriend.  Just about once a month these stories appear although I am sure that most are never uncovered.

What is it about Thai culture that allows this to happen so much?

A lot of women around the world have been sexually abused when they were young.

In Thailand I know of over 50 women who were raped as young as 9,

many by 12, even in my Thai family I know of 8 who were raped by their relatives,

Fathers, brothers, older cousins, and uncles. I noticed that those family members

were known by a lot of the family and some were even cast out. My 2 uncles were child

rapists, and one was shot to death by a relative after raping my cousin. I refused to go

to his funeral and have not shed a tear for his early demise.

So at  I know of at least one rapist who got his judgement and did not

live to a ripe old age.

Geezer

Reached grade 9 stopped school and started abusing drugs with her boyfriend. Indulged so much is fried her brain. Quite a few gals like that out there. The river of no brain return. Also stated was abused by her father at an early age. So sad.

Sad part is the woman's daughter will most likely be bought up by dodgy relatives.   Not just dodgy in their sexual orientation, but treated as a general dogs body.  Fetch this,  fetch that,  clean that mess,  weed the garden,  cook the dinner.....
