British passport is going to expire in 10 months,  can I send it by post or need to present myself in Hull?

I'm in the same situation. My UK passport has to be renewed in a few months and I'm wondering if I can still do it here through VFS at the Trendy building. Are there any major changes in procedure because of COVID-19 pandemic restrictions?

I live in Thailand and last time renewal was done through Hong Kong. Prior to that it was done at the embassy in Bangkok.

Do passport photos still have to be certified on the back by a British national to confirm it is a true representation of the applicant? Thanks for any help.

Just taking longer than usual to process renewal applications.

Only if their facial appearance has changed drastically over the previous 10 years, over and above the normal ageing process.
