Police in Trat in eastern Thailand have said they fined a trucker and gave him a stiff warning.

Bangern, 49, was summoned by Khao Saming police after a dash cam post showed several logs fall off his vehicle and nearly hit a motorcyclist in Sator sub-district.

He was fined 500 baht for not properly securing his load, said Khao Saming chief Pol Col Sathian Laokermhung.

He was also warned to be more careful in the future lest an even worse accident occur.

I think the blame here also lies with the local Government....if not there was not so much potholes in the road the logs would never have fallen off!!

500b we get fined more then that for not wearing a helmet. And we're only putting ourselves in danger..

Then you are being ripped off!  100 baht is the usual for locals given over surreptitiously.
