If i search for say Honda I hit H then below any other search that started with H shows up below. Can i turn this off in settings?.:coffee1:

It's in 'Search and Sync' under 'Other Google Services' uncheck Autocomplete searches and URLs. If it still shows up you may have to clear browsing data.

Are you using the homepage or the address bar? If it's the homepage I don't think it's possible to turn that off.

The address bar should work though. For me it still pulls up bookmarked pages but it doesn't preload potential search queries.

OP, are you concerned about your search history appearing once you type H, leading to visitors/other users seeing that you've been searching for things like "hemorrhoid treatments" and "herpes relief?" Or you are just trying to turn off predictive search assistance in general?
