COVID-19 PCR test before you fly

Featured Replies

Hi

Several Airlines now require a COVID-19 PCR test, 96 hours before you fly.

Does anyone have a list of Government approved hospitals which perform such a COVID-19 PCR test.

Please don't kill this thread with your views on the accuracy of the test etc...

Thanks

From Emirates.

Which country ???

Flying to Thailand with CoE ? or from Thailand ?

If from Thailand most private hospitals will do a Covid-19 test.

Look at the list of ASQ hotels - each one of those is tied to a hospital which tests the quarantinees. Any of those hospitals will do a Covid-19 test. The cost is 5-6000 baht.

@richard_smith237    The default location would be assumed as Thailand (unless otherwise stated).  Sept 26 is a long way away but just like to see my option.  One hospital is quoting THB6,500 which I feel is usury.

Thanks for your help

Government hospitals have the cheapest tests. Private hospitals in BKK,Phuket and Pattaya are more expensive. The price can differ several thousand baht.

initially my Embassy didn't have a list but I was able to cajole them into creating one.  Obviously one needs to check the details as I am sure there will be a farang price at many

@Max69xl You do realise that the op is about a COVID-19 PCR test before you fly (departing Thailand)

I think the point may have been that all the ASQ hotels have a tie in with a hospital which is documented in  the website linked to.  These hospitals will provide Covid tests to departing passengers too.

  • 5 weeks later...

Once again it's not wonder there is no covid here as few can afford to be tested.
