Went out last night for a pint (yes A pint) in Mrs.Trans car, whilst sitting there the heavens opened up, was stuck for a couple of hours. When the rain died down a bit I jumped back in the car and headed home, only about a mile away, anyhoooo, that storm gave a foot of water in places, I thought, I hope this weee car don't pack up, we are in trouble here, but got home OK..

Mrs.T's car has those posh coloured number plates, this morning the front one was gone, seems the frame had broken off whilst ploughing through the water, she was not amused. ????

Got in the car to cover my tracks to look for it, hoping the water had gone, it had, drove very slowly back to my watering hole, nothing. Turned around and drove slowly back. Now for some reason I looked up, and about 6 foot up a lamp post was my number plate, someone had found it and wired it to the post, I was relieved as no bollo__ing from her indoors, and I owe a very thoughtful person a thank you and a beer..????

Posh coloured? Red ones? Not allowed out in the dark are they?

I think the OP means one of the fancy ones you can order from the Driver/Licence place in lieu of the regular white plates.

Why bother, I see lots of people driving around without number plates in Thailand.

That's a real good one ????

Great story, my wife flew North a few days ago and reported the huge rain fall in Kalasin province. All locals reported happy she brought the rain with her to water up the paddys..

..sorry about your number plate.

Although Im intrigued, what does Transam actually stand for?

Is it the Trans-am automobile?

..short for transmission maybe?

..or is it about a ladyboy called Sam?

Clarification requested please?

I always found nice people in bike events 1/4 mile etc.

You did 1/4 mile in your Trans if I remember correctly forget your times.

The best I did with my Fireblade was 10.4.
