Trump was extraordinarily impressed. That he can tell you : "“She was extraordinarily nasty to Kavanaugh — Judge Kavanaugh then, now Justice Kavanaugh,” “She was nasty to a level that was just a horrible thing the way she was,”  

Coming from Trump, who knows something about, it's a compliment. It's a win.

My point, which you apparently missed, is that it takes years to produce a qualified social worker. If they defund the police now, there are not going to be enough. Far as I know it takes less time to train a cop than it does to gain a degree.

Let's hope such a scenario won't happen because if it did, no matter the eventual candidate, it would mess things up and create a lot of division in the democratic party that is now totally committed to defeating the wannabe fascist dictator in the white house. In other words, the Bernie factor. 

 

On the other hand, I totally understand why 45 fans would cling to hope that this unlikely scenario happens. Their dear leader is clearly headed to a humiliating defeat so that's one thing that could reverse that well deserved fate.

Interesting that you bring up Bernie. If Biden loses ( as many hope ) it will be the second time the DNC has picked a loser over Bernie, who would IMO have been a clear winner. However, as he was apparently against rich people they couldn't have him in charge, IMO, as many of them are very rich.

In the opinion of the majority of democrats, in both 2016 and 2020, Bernie is a losing choice. He would be red baited to death. That's another reason 45 fans would much prefer to run against Bernie. 45 was clearly most afraid to run against Biden and the polls are showing that fear was well justified.

I don't see why you think that we want Biden to be taken out of the running. IMO Biden is the gift that will see Trump re elected.

What I don't want is for someone to be put in that has an actual chance of winning. It's not as though the bar is set particularly high.

I don't know why you keep banging that drum. While I can't speak for every other poster, I support Trump as the better choice between two awful candidates. Sadly, they couldn't find a decent person to contest for POTUS, which says much about US politics and media.

Well I haven't really followed him lately but I know him from when Kamala did, 30ish years ago, and he wasn't bad looking at all. 

I understand powerful politicians can help others to move their political careers along, but Kamala was ELECTED in what we call ELECTIONS for:

San Francisco D.A.

Attorney General of the U.S.'s most important state

U.S. Senator of the U.S.'s most important state

 

So if WIllie was helping her, he picked a real winner. Not surprising, Willie is a brilliant leader and politician.
