I believe I was answering a post regards writers tax money being spent on wars and foreign aid and since you’re no 1 expense is Iraq a war most did not want.then no 2 Israel a quiet thing most do not talk about it’s funny considering Israel is so dependent on USA support you can not get them to give an inch .2 Nd not my people I’m British also not happy with being given false information to get all into War expensive in lives and money .

If by America's electorate you mean the 538 electors of the electoral college, then yes. If you mean the all the Americans who voted, not so much.

There was no layoff of 100's of cops in Portland. The city has approx 900 uniformed police officers. The  police budget increased for 2020-2021.

That claim was shown to be unsubstantiated. I went to the actual city website and found the police budget and the public statements on the  budget. There have been no layoffs because of political pressure as you  stated. 

 

The reason I have come back to this point is that it is an indication of how insincere and dishonest a core group of agitators are.  Most posts they make are dubious at best or obviously false. They lie and keep lying  in hopes of convincing people that the lies are true.   It is no different than the campaign of character assassination now launched against Senator Harris. They can't get her on her qualifications to be VP as she is educated, has an exemplary public service record; a strong track record on law and order and; been endorsed by the electorate in multiple statewide elections. As a result, they resort to false narratives on her national origin, or offer allegations of discrimination and despicable innuendo  about her personal life as a young adult.  We are now seeing a slow but steady  campaign of hate directed at her, emphasizing her ethnicity. Within a day of her nomination, the hate groups  started  with  allegations  that she is a jewish harlot, because she is married to a man of the Jewish religion. Her sister, Maya who  gained renown as a  the prosecutor who delivered convictions for large corporate financial fraud cases is also being targeted for petty personal attacks.

 

The haters are unable to get their pointy heads around the reality that there hasn't been as qualified and as distinguished a VP candidate  in the past 25 years.

Ahh, the good old foreign aid canard and of course the underlying anti israel sentiment. Of the top 10 foreign aid  receipients, israel is the only country that solely receives U.S. military support. The other top 9 receive  mostly direct financial aid or a combination of mostly general financial aid and with the exception of Afghanistan, minimal military aid.

 

Yes Israel receives about 17% of the top 10 countries foreign aid budget. but it is used exclusively to purchase US military equipment and services. In effect, it is a subsidy to the US military equipment  manufacturers to ensure that they can keep producing  material for the USA. The aid is used to develop and to test equipment that benefits the USA. Israel also serves as  a reliable strategic ally in the region.  Of the 9 top countries,  there isn't  one country that is actually a full supporter of the USA. Which one of these 9 is a reliable ally of the USA?  Afghanistan, Iraq, jordan, Ethiopia, Nigeria, South Sudan, Pakistan, Kenya, and Uganda.  

 

It is easy to criticize the USA, but the UK is hardly the poster nation for ethical foreign aid is it? Pakistan, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, jordan, South Sudan, somalia, Syria and Afghanistan are  the UK's top beneficiaries and surprise surprise, the UK likes to sell weapons too.

It just says she took advantage of an old guys patrionage (as happens many, many times in US politics) but she got the DA job on her own merit and became a senator off her own back.

If this is the best you Trump fans can come up with then the Dems and particularly Biden/Harris really have nothing to worry about.
