Context: Small Isaan restaurant. Owner's daughter had a child then gone away back to work and left grandma with the baby. Grandma has to run the restaurant so baby goes in a hamok, and the fan keeps the hamok swinging and the baby cool while grandma works. 

Simple invention to let grandma work and keep baby happy.

How far is the restaurant from the home... baby left alone is not good, even for a few seconds.

I think you have been trying that other well known Isaan invention carlyai  = Lao Khao  ...........

Its a tad safer than a kids play pen that was online a number of years ago

A bloody great Burmese Python curled up on the floor with a kid placed inside the coils.

The family stated the snake ate the rats that came to eat the rice and was happy to sleep all day

Some folks are  brain dead from birth

Must be a Big Fan or a Small Baby, Not  really believable. But hey What do I Know .
