Buying ink for HP Inkjet printer

Featured Replies

Hello, I have for many years a small HP printer ( HP inkjet 2050 ), I don't use it much but it's very useful for letters, tm 47, scans  etc and it works well

So far  , I have bought  only genuine cartridges ( black and color about 1250 bahts ), and now I think to buy other cartridges ( not genuine HP ), cheaper

do you know which brand to buy,  and is it worth it ? ( I speak of products you have experiment yourself )

thank you

Many printer manufacturers make there profit not from the sale of the device but from the ink replacement, so many will make using non-oem replacements problematic or even impossible.

You can find local printer shops selling conversion kits, drilling holes in oem cartridges allowing fresh ink to be poured in, or tubes attached to an external tank. Or you can buy a new printer with the kit already installed for you.

Ink printer owners, though, many times suffer from dried ink clogging the print head from infrequent use. In this case it's sometimes better to purchase a B/W Laser Printer as these use ground plastic powder that gets fused to the paper.
