not all crimes are the same. I think this one would go up the ladder much faster. upscale, check.. money involved, check... I do think we all agree the system CAN work, but ....... once I met a very angry couple, money stolen, video proved it was the cleaning staff, she fled back to Myanmar, many trips to police station, they still left very upset. hotel didn't get in trouble. who knows what really happened. gotta get that money back before it's spent. lol -

Yes, that's why when a dealer sells you something, or a restaurant cooks you a meal, etc, they are adding value to the basic cost of the original article or ingredients, on which HE will have paid VAT to his supplier, and can claim back against what he charges his customer. So the VAT HE pays to the Govt. is only on whatever 'value' he has added.
