Seems a lot of posters only like democracy when the voters vote the way THEY think the voters should. If the Dems want to win they only have to have policies and a candidate that more people in more states vote for than the opposition.

All this Trump bad, Trump bad is because, IMO, they think they can't beat him at the ballot box with a better candidate and better policies.

Seems like you'll keep on banging the same drums regardless of facts and reality.

Posters do not have to like the elections results. It's enough that they accept them. There's no obligation to either praise the winner or even support him.

The Democratic Party does have a platform, does have policies and these have been discussed and linked on multiple topics (even recent ones) in which you partook. You wish to pretend this is not so, go right ahead. It won't make it true, though.

As for "more people in more states vote for", another drum beat. Unless you missed it, a less appealing Democratic candidate managed to get more votes than Trump, and that's before his term in office.

All this Trump bad is because Trump is bad. That your "opinion" (resistant to facts as it is) allows you to imagine a reality in which Democrats do not have policies, or that Trump  gets more votes - that's fine, but still doesn't do much to counter the claim that Trump is bad.

Now, how about you talk some on the Republican Party's platform and policies, or the quality of candidate fielded, or about the Republican Party, Trump and Trump supporters' treatment of the opposition - guess that when "your" side is at it, quite alright to limit criticism to "bad", eh?

Well, to be fair, it's not like Donald Trump and a big percentage of Republicans ever questioned Obama's right to be President after he was elected...oh wait a minute...

How about trying to save the country and world from another 4 years of dealing with an incompetent conman?

How about stop making excuses for Donald Trump and acknowledge he is so lacking in character that his own sister calls him out on it...

To quote some guy I heard on the TV not too long ago..."It is what it is.."

How about waking up and smelling the coffee and admit Donald J. Trump is one of the best presidents ever?

To quote several guys I've heard on TV not too long ago..."Trump 2020."

Post removed.   The topic is about the remarks of Trump's sister.

He's the least popular president at least in modern history since they started tracking it. If he was even close to an average president that wouldn't be the case. But I'll give his supporters an opportunity to prove that point. What things have happened in his 3 1/2 years as president can you point to in order to make that case?

We'll find out in November if you are right, won't we?

Indeed we will. Though I must point out that I asked that simple question, "What things have happened in his 3 1/2 years as president can you point to in order to make that case?" two days ago... the only response to this thread since then was that one. That doesn't say a lot about his accomplishments.

Your question as to what he has done to be re elected has been answered several times, including by me. I don't see why I should have to repeat myself all the time, and in any event it's off topic.

He likes the fact the Trump has appointed conservative justices. You know, the ones who in their decisions favor corporations over working people.

He did reduce his golf handicap, or should have with all the times he has played.  Ivanka got a few chinese trademarks.

The bonus is that while he has been in office he hasn't had a bankruptcy.

That's a feature not a bug.

That's nothing. Jared got his family bailed out of his billion dollar real estate disaster with the help of a sweetheart deal supported by the Qatari government.
