Song Kran 4th Sept > 7 th Sept ????

Featured Replies

Hi Folks ... Any confirmation that Songkran is going ahead on the 4th to the 7th of September ?  It's down on the internet as a public holiday ..Just wondering if it will be happening and if so  will it be wet one ... or just a regular long  weekend type of Thai national holiday .

Might be a nice songkran without all the stupid off their heads drunken tourists  ..  I might even partake in the festivities ...

It is the holiday days lost in Songkram being given to people to use in a weeks time. I very much doubt there will be any water throwing. The last big holiday for domestic tourists this year. Will foreign tourists start to fill the void?

Will there be water battles? Just take a bucket with ice water and pour it over some Thais and say Happy Songkran and wait if they fight back.
