Translation Services in Bangkok

Featured Replies

[Please feel free to move my topic if I'm in the wrong forum.]

I'm looking for recommendations for places to get a certified/notarised translation in Bangkok. My son was born in Thailand recently and I would like to translate his birth certificate to English so that I can apply for his passport (British). If anyone has done this and can share the location I would really appreciate it.

I'm hoping to book an appointment with the passport people for one afternoon and get the translation done that morning - is that possible? Are translation places generally walk-in services or do they require an appointment?

Thanks in advance for your help.

@theoldgit is correct there are a ton of these services.

For a specific recommendation, we used TSL for all the translations for my wife's US greencard application.

They are located on the ground floor of the Trendy Building, which I'm assuming is where you will be going to apply for your son's UK passport.

I heard an awful lot of various UK accents in there so I guess they are pretty popular

A little update. The outfit i mentioned may have consolidated into a single location from when we used them, as now they only reference the office in the Sindhorn Building, which is opposite the US Embassy on Wireless Rd
