This guy is busted for illegal suplements.

You're not quite right...

"The Russian has been charged with four offences including of illegally selling pharmaceuticals, selling drugs that could not be registered and inadequate labelling of drugs (in that they did not have the Thai language)".

hey guys...

Depend of what you start to ask to foreigners to paid to have a life in Thailand, only these kind of scammers would be able to paid.

The rich one would just go an other place with better standard for same price, and normal people can not be stolen by your requested practices and will leave the country.

What do you, guys, are thinking / imagining ?

That people from very high level standard from (Europe and USA if not Hong Kong and Japan) countries come to Thailand for loose the same money than in their own country but for no infrastructures, lower level of life quality ? What do you imagine ? You should travel a bit to see the world (if you can understand what you see also...).

We love Thailand because we are ok with that low level standard for cheaper price and because it is what we can get from our money we win.... we are simple people and our knowledge enough to have this life easy. We, all of us i think, like also nice and humble people, respect and humans relations, but no one want to be stolen by any government, all over the world.

Thailand is not Singapore also... do not dream (and i will not go to leave in Singapore, i prefer Thailand if Thailand stay simple).

All of us respectful foreigners don't want mafia people and we like when you push them in jail. But please, go back to the reality, you can not ask us impossible requirement that only the people who win easy dirty money and the one you will put in jail can be able to paid...

So put these kind of scammers in jail and stop to try to scam foreigners with your incredible and very very expensive requirements.

stay friendly and correct please, respect yourself.

So what kind is normal Thai pharmacy!? Pharmacy license holder never work in own shop! Normaly doctor who don't have time to work there! Have coverment duty and own practice! Some teenage or people from street's sell there what ever you want! And seller don't know nothing about medicine!

Agreed, the girl of the street rings the doctor who asks her to explain why the customer is on the floor with his chest pounding and prescribes over the phone, avoid these sham shops

This is just a fake razzia to get the usual brown envelope.

The BIB's are broke prior to closed gogo bars raids and catch 60 year old foreigners in short time rooms with pointing fingers and and camera to prove it.

You think so? A cousin of my wife - someone she hasn't mixed with in years to the extent that when she spotted her in the local supermarket they didn't speak - was last year jailed for 35 years for selling fake slimming aids. She's fat, so either they didn't work or she knew they were too dangerous to take herself. The alarm was raised when one of her customers died.

ho... it should be something like methamphetamine drug. It was legal in USA long times ago and stop due to the same problem... people die and can not stop to eat this sh...t. But they were more slim.

The problem about the big city population to start to be fat in Thailand for some of them is that young people start to eat the same bad food as USA people do (and what they see learn in TV show commercial efficient propaganda)... fat dirty burger, sugar pizza, hormonal-fed chicken, sausages, colored food and drinks, lot of sugar every where (because sugar is very addictive as a drug, if you can not have it, you feel unhappy next), etc... it is as if they assimilated by copying the worst of what they see happening elsewhere. Very strange, but i do understand some big bad food companies how much money they do by the image they provide to be so... cool and to make their products so easily accessible (even if very expensive) while making believe that they are luxury products enhancing their image (which is quite easy with gullible people who have no level of study to understand and worry about what they are eating). It's so cool the world of Disney... it is not like it is new now... but for some country it is new and an idea of modern life to go with (and for Thailand it is very not good because they have a so good national food... maybe the best of Asian food).

I think, because of now they start to make Thailand forbidden to access for normal and respectful foreigners people due to scammer business with 5 stars hotel 2 weeks jail and 2 times expensive Thai insurance for half service you can find other places (at price they will never paid for and will make them leave Thailand), it should have soon more and more scammers people to try to survive by sale strange magic killer products then the jail will be full.

They will, soon, have to paid Laosian cheap workers for new jail to build.

So, he was operating an illegal pharmacy and from the photo it looks like he is selling tiffy (paracetamol) and anapril (blood pressure meds)

Does this mean that all the illegal stalls on Sukhumvit in BKK selling pharmaceuticals will be arrested next?

I saw them all sprawled out along Sukhumvit road the other day, no police in sight.

I am not so sure that traditional Thai food is that healthy. Lots and lots of sugar even in the spicy foods and lots of deep fried food frequently fried in less than suitable oils.

Paracetamol doesn't need any license, we used to have a 7 11 and sold all of that stuff, only license we had was for food/beverages.

So the crime here is proll something along the lines of "working without work permit" or having an "unregistered business".
