So does this mean that the Thai Winter is now approaching and the rainy season will soon be a thing of the past?  Will the government once again buy blankets and jackets for those in need, or will they expect them to use the 100 baht a day 3000THB total subsidy.  Without the tourism season starting in October, many of those who would be in Phuket, Pattaya, or Bangkok will still be in those Northern provinces and be short on the clothing necessities as well as they are rarely there during this time of the year.

Its the poor in the villages who get the free blankets , usually the young and the old

Slow news day. Meanwhile it's currently 35c/95f on the ground in CM ????

With a 81 % humidity rate

Give them the blankets again so they can sell them, same procedure as every year James.

Odd hearing this when the weather in CM has been rather warm the last few days.
