Popular Post bkk6060
Where I live they run about 35 per sm. The common fees here are a real bargain in my opinion. Paying around $50 a month for all the amenities is extremely low even in the higher western type buildings. Just saying I know this is Thailand but lesser amenities in a place like Los Angeles for over $1000 a month are common. Popular Post how241
Nirun Condo charges a flat 300 baht for all condos from 26 meters to 39 meters. I guess around 11 baht per meter and they are able to have 2 big swimming pools and many security guards. The swimming pools and all common areas have been recently remodeled. They seem to do a lot with this small maintenance fee. The 300 baht fee has been the same for the 11 years that I have been here. 3 1
KamnanT
Sukhumvit Soi 31, 12 year old building, nice swimming pool, good gym, lots of lifts relative to number of units (lifts are expensive to run), 58 baht/sqm/month which we tried (and failed) to get increased to 65 at the AGM (no increase since mid-2017). There are 2,000 condos there and I'm guessing around 4000-5000 farangs and Thai that live there. Thank you for sharing your thoughts that Nirun is not for you But I won't comment further as this is not a thread about whether or not you would be happy living at Nirun Condo. Needless to say, it is low priced, budget living and not for everyone BUT certainly some find it suits them quite well. 2 2
kiaora1968
In an older building in central Chiangmai, but very well built and in good condition, 20.5 Baht per sqm. The building has two lifts, both with regular maintenance, but no pool nor fitness... Hasn't gone up at all in the last 7 years that I live here. And BTW we are in the Chiang Mai Forum and I am unsure that answers about Pattaya/Jomtien were what the OP expected...

Not sure what you are trying to say with that comment. I live at Nirun for 8 years and always enjoyed the very centralized location. I also enjoyed the friendly mix of people. Unlike condos in the USA, where you can be fined for even putting out a towel to dry on your balcony. In those USA condos, there are always people watching your every move and rushing to report you. I called them the 'condo commanders' and they had nothing better to do the report every rule infraction. Some enjoy to live like that so everything remains 'sterile' clean. I enjoyed the relaxed living style at Nirun as it is like a small Thai city. To each his own. Some like chocolate ice cream, some like vanilla. Some hate ice cream . Enough about this. 2 1
