Hello All,

A customer of mine wants me to fly to Taiwan to do an installation.  My current non-O/Thai wife VISA expires on December 28 (we usually start the renewal application around December 1st). I worry that the mandatory WuWu quarantine and lack of flights could delay my return, so my question is simply this:

What is the last day in December that my wife and I can go to immigration and extend my VISA for another year?

I really, really do not want to apply for a new VISA in Taiwan...

Thank You,

Phil Ster

You could apply for your extension of stay on December 28th if you wanted to.

There is no minimum number of days to do it other than the last day.

OP your next extension is dated from Dec 28. It makes no difference how early you apply. If you attend imm Dec 1 that extension will be until Dec 28 2021

Thanks.  I know this was a stupid question, but it's kind of important I get it right and if you talk to 3 immigration officers you will get 3 answers LoL.
