PC Facebook window sizes?

Featured Replies

It's not important but annoying. On my PC Win 7 and using Facebook/messenger the window on the left showing groups etc. takes up about a quarter of the screen. Likewise the window on the right showing contacts takes up about a quarter of the screen. Is it possible to reduce the size of these boxes? Not too technical please. I'm well past my sell by date of mid 80s and the old grey matter takes longer to fire up.

Sorry to tell you, but that is the new Facebook layout, absolutely horrible, <deleted>, and few other words I am not allowed to write here..

Right now, you could revert it to the old layout, but in few days (end of September), this will be the "new normal".

At least, they have not yet touched the phone layout

Thanks????

If you're using Chrome you can try an extension called FBP or F.B.Purity or Fluff Busting Purity.  It can filter out the parts of FB you don't like.  It's free with optional donation.  It's not perfect but it does make FB so much more bearable that I no longer bother to use FB on my phone.
