looking for a KTM Showroom in Bangkok

Featured Replies

My KTM 200 motorcycle was stationed due to Covid and now the battery is discharged completely. its due for a service as well. All the KTM showrooms in Bangkok seem to have closed permanently or at least the internet says so. is there any KTM showroom open in Bangkok? if yes, how can I tow my motorcycle?

Do you really need a specialist KTM dealer to service this bike and get a battery for it...? It can't be done anywhere else...!

I'm just asking because that really limits options and should be considered for ownership if it is such a specialist machine. Unless it's just your preference... ????

I left my motorcycle sat for 3 months while I had a motorcycle ‘dash-cam’ installed, which was not supposed to draw power with the ignition off, but somehow did draw a slight current.

3 months later the battery was completely flat and destroyed. BMW changed the battery and all was good.

A battery change is extremely simple.

Thus: Instead of getting the machine trailered to a service centre it is easy enough to buy the same sized battery, have the shop charge it up for you, then you can take it back to your bike and install it yourself. Actual installation shouldn’t take more than a matter of minutes (10mins).

Regarding KTM Service centres:

The Facebook page is old - so this place may be closed. Give them a call to check.

There is also Motoplex at A-Square (Sukhumvit 26) which used to sell KTM and is no longer a KTM dealer. I’m not sure if it still honours warranty or services KTM. It would be worth giving them a call to check.
