  I think I read where Trump hasn't even bothered to attend any Covid Task Force meetings in several months.  With Trump, hard to say if that is a good or bad thing.  Clearly there has been no coherent, strong,  national leadership from the President from the start and that is why the death count is 220,000 and rising.

Given that the president could have easily won re-election had he made even the slightest effort to 'pretend' to lead the fight against COVID-19.

 

Instead he, and his 'administration' literally made every single bad/wrong decision possible. Honestly, a monkey throwing darts could have done better. 

 

It seem like, owing to some pyschogical/character flaw or accelerating mental deterioration, he really wants to lose (not be president any longer).

 

So that requires contributing the deaths of thousands of Americans, and generally soiling the country on his way out.

 

Will be interesting to see how much burning and looting he does if he loses, during his lame-duck term. 

 

If he loses, my guess is that he will not all of a sudden start acting "presidential".
