Hey you clown, How about just fixing the paths and sidewalks for people pushing wheelchairs and pushchairs.  To describe Pattaya as some kind of Megapolis when you cannot even use pushchairs without risking throwing your child out into the road just shows how useless you bunch of idiots truly are !

Amen. It is difficult enough even if not in wheelchairs or pushchairs. State of walkways may put you in one, however.

They are beyond atrocious. Vendors encroaching as near Tukcom so much have to take chances in streets. Random bits of cast iron poking up. Uneven levels, power line posts in the middle of sidewalk... on and on

Along with those items, how about hiring all those unemployed to clean up the trash on side sois, streets, empty lots, etc?

They have made beach road Jomtien clean, but then got rid of trash cans? Explain that. Walk ten feet off beach road and looks like city dump. I guess they just can't see it. Does not register in their reputed minds.

So more construction is going to make the city "more livable"? Now you can't drive anywhere without huge traffic jams because of all the construction. If there was anywhere close to the normal amount of tourist traffic this city would be at a standstill. It almost is anyway.

The city is very much NOT livable right now Mr. Mayor. More construction won't help. And knowing you you'll do it all at once, not a little bit at a time.

Ridiculous!

The resort will entice tourists from locations such as Moscow, St Petersburg, Shanghai and Guangzhou - areas with low numbers of COVID-19 infections - while tourists from India would not be considered at the present moment due to the high number of infections.

Has this guy not read the news Etc.

Russia is absolutely rampant with Covid.

Ive been living in Thailand for 17 years and for as long as I can remember there have been building works going on the road into pattaya. Its the most corrupt place on earth. Even with 80Trillion they would never complete the proposed works.

Anyway - all that aside - the Virus nonsense has only just begun. It will be years before anythign gets back to normal for tourism. The better idea would be to demolish it completely and rebuild it from the ground up - without focussing on tourists.

Hard to believe these people are actually appointed as a mayor of a city like Pattaya?!?!
The sheer nonsense to announce an 80 Billion Baht investment into Pattaya city!
They can't even plan their road construction works without months and months of delay!
How often has Pattaya's drain system has been improved?
"Work in progress" - year to year.

Ask your fearless leader to invest a few of his billions into a new Casino along with his Chinese friends like they did in Cambodia. I am sure you have his ear.

Thailand really doesn't need people with your attitude, you need to get a hobby or look for somewhere more appealing,  sad to see you post such negative comments every day. look elsewhere so you'll be happier.

Really, it was a response to you asking where the Casino's and Luxury hotels were.  He can afford to build and bring more happiness to the people by creating more jobs, just like you say he is currently doing.  I do not see it as my having an attitude.  It goes hand in hand with what you would like to see, or is it not.
