Hua Hin follows Pattaya's lead: Night run set for next month

 

 

Hua Hin has followed Pattaya's lead in organizing a night fun run.

 

But unlike a bikini clad chance to see attractive women that has been planned for this coming Saturday in Pattaya, more staid Hua Hin has opted for a charity event next month organized in part by the tourist police.

 

Billed as the  "Night Run Super Fun on the Beach" the event is being organized by the tourist police, volunteers and City Hall as a way of helping those in need in the area. 

 

In a promotion event secretary of the auditor general's office Pol Maj-Gen Angkook Khlaikleung praise the tourist police for all the wonderful work they do in and around Hua Hin. 

 

 

It is hoped that apart from the charity the Saturday November 28th event will attract 3,000 participants and stimulate tourism.

 

A run of either 5 or 10 kilometers will start at the Rajabhakti Park (the one with the historical statues south of Hua Hin) and go to the Suan Son Pradiphat Beach. The run is from 4 pm to 9pm.

 

Lots of food and drink stalls are promised along with a concert by Grammy artists outside the Bluport mall and a colorful "balloon show".
