Yes. All of this and you get to watch Thai people not having to follow anti-covid measures while you are treated like a leper, and paying a small fortune for the privilege. A nice relaxing holiday. 11
BangkokReady
Looking at the graphic, with the "used from 1st Nov" being clearing added later, it seems like this is a product idea from one of these "start-ups" and in no way a real thing. Most of the functions are pure fantasy in terms of what can realistically be supplied and used for any length of time.

Popular Post spidermike007
Just more inane stupidity. It is as if they do not want to revive tourism, and are doing everything in their power to make sure it does not happen. They are so far over the top with their paranoia, insularity, fear mongering, and tiny man complex. I predict 11,000 tourists in 2021, unless they get creative, and come up with a program that does not require quarantine. Sorry guys. Few are going to choose a destination that requires quarantine, at the expense of the tourist, and a tourist prisoner mentality, when it comes to electronic tracking. Just not gonna happen. Thailand. A once vibrant tourist destination. Now? Millions out of work due to extreme incompetence, a dire lack of creative solutions, and a past the sell by date administration. 13

Popular Post ezzra
Is there an end to all the hoopla the gimmicks and the wild predictions as where Thailand tourism is heading to? it seems that they have covered everything and the kitchen sink but no tourists are to be found, which is a must be component of a successful tourism industry to flourish...
Popular Post CharlieH
Wonder what bizarre price the Govt will be charged for these devices and who is owning or has interest in that company. Usually an envelope involved when stupid things like this emerge. You can bet someone is rubbing their hands together. 6

Soon to look like the Borg and be part of the Farang collective. The Thai's will definitely steer clear when they see you board the MRT or BTS and dock with an EV station so the Government can upload your data. 1 1
Popular Post Misterwhisper
Does the device also have a secret tracking function to assess how much these tourists are spending in Thailand? I mean, it's got to be worthwhile when the country is taking these tremendous risks of letting foreigners in, right? 3
Popular Post americanfarang
If I want to be tracked like this, I will take a vacation in North Korea or China. There is no way most tourists will accept to be tracked and treated like this, just for the "privilege" to visit Thailand. There are other vacation destinations that are open and tourists will choose those destinations which impose the least restrictions. As an American, I am off to Miami in ten days and in February, I'm off to Mexico. No COVID test, no quarantine, no COVID insurance and no tracking bracelet required. Thailand will lose out on tons of tourist money due to the excessive requirements, as people will go to other counties.

bdenner
This article has no substance! In saying that the Huawei device I wear, after a heart scare, requires a smart phone with app and BlueTooth interface, relies on the GPS function in the phone. Turn the phone off and you have nothing. It looks very similar to the top photo in the OP. Was about 800 Baht 1
AlfHuy
Please visit us soon and get a free "welcome pack" at your international airport. Get yours now. Be care about your well-being and want to know exactly where you are and in case of something might happen to you, in a few seconds, we will be at your location. Thailand, the land that takes proud care of their visitors. Probably each tourist will get an un-employed bargirl 24h a day to keep TAT informed about our movements and activities. That's only 8000 baht a day. Bargain.

Popular Post Andreas2
Please stop complaining or making fun of the Thai government as they try so hard to contain this very deadly disease, this pandemic. They just care about all of us. According to the CDC, this is the actual Infection Fatality Ratio: 0-19 years: 0.00003 20-49 years: 0.0002 50-69 years: 0.005 70+ years: 0.054 Source: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/hcp/planning-scenarios.html As I'm in the group "50-69", does this mean that 5 out 100,000 people in this segment are going to die from this super lethal disease? I really hope, this high number - 5 - is a massive exaggeration! I'm seriously scared now. In mentally terrible situations like this, it always helps me a lot if I go and I sit on my scooter for a little ride to relax. 3 1

After realising they are unreliable and costing time to chase false alarms, they'll be quietly withdrawn to avoid losing face. Your tracking bracelet/watch is awaiting you to wear daily for the rest of your days here in Thailand as you are in a higher group than the Thais as to possibly be infecting them, even if you have been here already for a long time. We live here and visit here at their leisure. When they are done with us, it is time you must leave unfortunately.
