Take away the "right now" part

and that's always been the question for many of us who got out when the gettin out was good.

 

And now many of our countries are helping us financially with welfare.

(I guess thats a pacifier for us to sit back and do nothing while our lives and economies are deliberately pulled into the sหitter, but i digress).

 

I for one was initially piรรed that I'd lost my freedom to travel back there,

 but if its going to be another 12-18 months before there is even any international travel..

 

where do you wanna to be?

 

In Thailand:

Begging for visas or jumping through hoops.

Dodging scams (insurance and such).

Financing women who basically treat you like cรap.

and generally being treated like a leper being tracked by the government.

 

OR

 

Go back home:

no visa issues.

less blatant scams.

You can understand whats going on around you 100%.

Where you are actually allowed to work and earn a $.

Or even collect welfare and sit it out..

 

Pretty much a no brainer.

 

Granted, the women in the west you wouldnt want to hit with a barg-pole,

but I'm thinking in this  "new normal"

its probably a much better headache free life without any of them anyways.

Better inform the Tourists that hot showers are not possible.  Beware if the Hotel bathroom is furnished with a bathtub too, this will definitely trigger the alarm.

So first tourist visa, then booking trip and/or accommodation and ticket with thai travel agency, expensive Thai health insurance, pre arrival covid test, quarantine hotel and so on. Wow Thailand knows how to empty our pockets.

Everybody can see that you are one of those foreigners that they have to fear because you may have covid. They cannot see that if you only have a tracking app on the smartphone in your pocket.

When you go to the resorts in venezuela you also get a wristband so outside the resorts they will all overcharge you because you're rich.
