Anxious U.S. voters choose between Biden, Trump after vitriolic campaign

I think this article sums it up well.....

We still do not know who is the winner of the presidential election. But we do know who is the loser: the United States of America.

We have just experienced four years of the most divisive and dishonest presidency in American history, which attacked the twin pillars of our democracy — truth and trust. President Donald Trump did not spend a single day of his term trying to be president of all the people, and he broke rules and trashed norms in ways that no president ever dared — right up to last night when he falsely claimed election fraud and summoned the Supreme Court to step in and stop the voting, as if such a thing were even remotely possible.

More like a toxic waste dump.

Give it a rest, Trump has won and everyone knows it.

The final 6% of uncounted votes can't change the outcome.

How did that work out?

Of course he hasn't won yet.

Yes its depressing that its so close and Biden on course to still win. That's a sad state of affairs considering yes Biden really is that bad.

and I agree with it.

So you are say that Biden is bad, but the racist misogynistic guy that you love is losing to him.

Looks like Biden is going to win. I wonder what all the anti Trumpers will find to post about in future when Trump is gone?

Given your track record, I'm sure you'll be providing lots of easy targets.

Yes pictures of Trump sitting in prison and complaining he gets no Mac Donald

Just heard Biden talking on radio as if he has won already. Politico disagrees.

I fear that Biden will squeak in, and we will suffer the consequences, but I've always believed that things these days get worse for the common man, not better.

And yet you predicted repeatedly that Trump would win. So it doesn't seem your claim of expecting worse is exactly factual, is it?

I said before he was elected that at the least he would be an entertaining president and I wasn't wrong, IMO. The reality show that is US politics certainly became a lot more interesting.

I also mentioned that his family were visually more appealing than that of his opposition, and I was correct on that, IMO, though we haven't seen very much of them.

Perhaps you find it entertaining but those affected by his policies don't.   There are thousands of children removed from their parents who are at the butt end of your entertainment.   There are thousands of Covid-19 deaths that really aren't very funny to the family members.

Entertaining in the context I used is not the same as "funny", but I'm not surprised you take my remark out of context.

Some very strange reasons for saying you like Trump.  His family is just a bunch of liars and cheats, just like daddy.  Did you see Eric with Rudy G. in Pennsylvania bashing the integrity of our election process?  Insane.  Can't wait for them to be gone.  Life will be easier.

You mean you have ignored the news if you claim not to have seen much of Trump's family.

You're 100% wrong.  GA might flip in the next few minutes.  Down to 6k lead for Trump now.  AZ might flip.  Biden's lead is going down fast.  PA might flip.

Nobody knows right now.  Nobody.

It's a lot closer than I thought it would be. It's going to be a nail biter once again.

Trump might get the popular vote and the house, but lose the White house. and the senate.

Too early to tell of course.

Looks like you managed to get it perfectly wrong.

Good news is the 2 senate races in GA will probably both go to a runoff.  Excellent opportunity for the dems to pickup those 2 seats...if Trump loses.

That was like an hour in, and that' what it looked liked. I was just trying to get thread rolling. No one predicted that the votes would switch to 100 percent for Biden at midnight.

It never looked like the House was going to become Republican. Well, at least not to a reasonably objective observer. But if you're in the bag for Trump...

That is going to be one of the most interesting and most expensive elections in history!
