I love a good dough like a crumble cake, not the spongy cake type with pounds of cream on top.

Can it be found in Chiang Mai?

 

Alternatively, my sister in Germany is the best baker in the world. But how to get it here so it's still tasty? The issue becomes more pressing with the time of Xmas cookies coming.

 

The best answer will get her Christmas Cookies from me 

Quite a few recipes on the net Google "Streuselkuchen recipe" for the German variety ????

According to who?  Has she won top world-wide honours in competitions, etc.?  How does she compare to people such as Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood, for example?

Any suggestion how to get them here still in tasty shape?.

So far trials have failed. Perhaps the flight, stop over in Dubai/Doha/and the heat there have caused the loss of flavor ..

I ordered stollen last year from a German bakery in Chiang Mai.  495 Baht including delivery.  It appears that they have moved to Cha Am.  (It's definitely the same Facebook account - I can see last year's order.)  They're now trading as J&S Bakery Cha Am.
