30000 50000 years old.

Does anybody know who these people were and where did they come from? What is the historical context.

Apart from exiting fish it always amaze me how alike ancient cave paintings are, like a globalized spirit of art – I'm looking at the human-like figure upper right – I however cannot say if these cave paintings are copy cats; ancient or more present...

Highly unlikely they are anywhere near that old given the exposed nature of the wall structure. Even the oldest European cave paintings are no older that 35000 years, and the are deep in well protected locations.
