Try Thai cupid, I used it a couple years ago, the majority are ladies looking for a relationship vs Thaifriendly/Tinder majority are sex workers. 

 

One reason for the difference is both people have to pay to message, no free messages unlike ThaiFriendly

Thai  Friendly is great if you set the filter function to your requirements. Location, height, weight, age and respect their age limit. Being a paid member is important if you are a professional like me.

If you set the location to Pattaya as a example and study the results like I do, you will see the same faces everyday 24/7 on the first pages of search results. They are the freelancers. Same in Bangkok. another way you can spot a freelancer is after they give you their line account, look at their timeline. there will be nothing on it.

12 years ago I had no time to scratch my head on TLL. Every night different girl had something to tell me, but now absolutely desert. All looking for gold mine and majority not good looking.

I'm a nurse and in my younger days was as randy as any, yet women were not lining up to take me out.

I had female nurse friend that told me how she'd go to the pub with female friends and guys bought them drinks all night ( thinking they were onto a sure thing ) and they'd walk out without any guy at the end of the evening. Guys, IMO are such suckers when a pretty woman is around.

Correct. Contrary to the urban myth and television shows, female nurses are just like every other female on the planet. Seems they are "angels" only to those never been in hospital, as nurses suffer assault, insults and abuse from those they try to help, which goes some way to explaining why nursing is not something western women want to do nowadays. I retired early because of the bullying from senior nurses.

 

To make it relevant to the OP, I never went out with nurses on a "date" as I didn't "date" western women, or women working in the west as too PC for my liking.

I have a single friend in Bangkok. Mid 50's. Decent looking. Fairly well established, financially. He avoids the apps. And meets women constantly. Granted, he is assertive and confident. Women love that. I cannot believe the number of women he dates. Many are very successful, and very high functioning. He is trying to avoid a long term relationship. That is his biggest challenge.

 

He speaks minimal Thai, but a little. Bangkok is a gold mine, for a single man, living there. The extent to which you have prospects, is entirely based on how assertive, and how creative you are.
