Thai local bars / clubs in Pattaya? (clubs with very few Farangs)

Word definitions:

For lack of a better term, a "Thai local bar" is a bar where around 1000 and more Thais go and where very Farangs and maybe a most 5 Farangs or so. Usually live music or electronic music or a mix. The type of bar where very few or no Thai prostitutes go. (Or at least not those focused on serving Farangs. I haven't recognized a huge Thai focused prostitute crowd in such Thai local bars yet.) Often people there speak very little English to even no English at all.

For completeness sake, the opposite of that, for lack of better term is "Farang mixed bar" is a place where lots of Farangs and Thais go. Most Thais there usually speak a lot English.

Question:

What are good Thai local bars in Pattaya?

Bangsaen and Chonburi have lots of such places, Pattaya doesn't, maybe there are a couple in Banglamung and certainly in Sattahip because of Navy bases.

And my guess is there will be a few scattered along route 331.

As far as I have heard, most party goers drive to Sriracha or Sattahip for their "local" parties.

If you want to know these clubs, you should do a search on facebook for dating groups in the region and then look at the check-ins of sexy girls, you will find tons of clubs, and once you have found the clubs, you will find that there are thousands of "party girls" visiting the clubs. it's not prostitution but the guys shell out money to go out with the girls and have fun... oh wait...

If driving around, you can spot the clubs because they usually have a lit sign advertising alcohol such as brands of Whisky, Vodka or Gin. 100 Pipers comes to mind, as well as a few tohers I forgot, one shows a ship. The more unknown the brand, the more "local" the club, I guess.

Plenty of bars/clubs with mainly thai clientelle in the area around Hollywood Disco on Soi Phettrakul.

yeah, but many of the patrons will speak English due to the proximity to Pattaya

1000 people in a bar? Wow it's a huge number

Are you talking of a disco like Differ rather than an ordinary bar?

Anyway the entertainent scene has been destroyed in Pattaya, not only for the farangs

but also for the Thais. 30% of the thai population has already left the city, and 30% more should left

in the next months after the dead ''high season'', the thais were here only for work and make money, most of them are now back in their villages where the cost of life is less expensive.

Pattaya economy was dependant at 80% of the international tourism.

Then i am afraid you can't actualy find somewhere in Pattaya with 1000 thais partying inside.

As suggested by the others you should be more lucky in Chonburi, Sattahip, Si racha or Rayong

Not likely.

You're better going to any decent sized Thai town, they all have a local club, most of them every night of the week it's open and very little ( if any ) have been affected by CV pandemic.

I've had some great nights at many and normally the Thai's a much more friendly towards farang than what i would expect they are in Pattaya and surrounding area.

Being able to speak Thai is pretty much essential, even basic Thai will ensure a great time.

Pattaya real has no appeal now, there's better nights out and options all over thailand if you get out and explore.
