Many places will rent without a passport but they'll require a very substantial cash deposit, just ask & negotiate.

Pops rental. Leave cash deposit instead of passport.

    just wondering why the rental rates in Chiang Mai are the most expensive in LOS? PCX/NMAX 600-700THB a day, just got NMAX in USM for 200/day, here in Pattaya is 300-400 for new models......
