Daily News reported on a viral video that is doing the rounds of Twitter and other social media.

It features a pick-up that followed a large truck-trailer into flood waters in the south of Thailand.

In no time the truck is plowing through deep water but the pick-up is starting to float away.

An occupant of the pick-up is seen scrambling through a window to safety.

The TikTok video adds insult to injury with a song with the lyrics "Oh no, oh no" on loop.

Only another five years to go on the truck payments.

I think we've just seen the 'down' payment.

Someone was standing there with video running, waiting for this to happen.

Insurance won't cover any claim if they try as it's a ride off and he should have known better, can't help stupid.

In that case, did you know that water can ruin electronics, lubricants, and mechanical systems. It may take months or years, but corrosion can find its way to the car's vital electronics, including airbag controllers. I would have opted for it to be a ride off if the insurer was willing to pay to fix it, that or get ride of it as quickly as possible after the fact, fully disclosing it was water damaged to the buyer and having been repaired by the insurer of course.
