Bungs.........................wot Bungs?

According to reports coming through from England, Manchester United are being investigated on suspicion of slipping Tim Howard a bung not to play for Everton against United last week. It is said they could face a possible points deduction, but in the wake of the West Ham fiasco, I can't see that. It's OK to cheat in the premiership, it's only speaking your mind that gets you into trouble. Can anyone enlighten me on this rumour, or is it all talk?

Anyway, from a Chelsea die hard, if all stays the same " WELL DONE MANCHESTER UNITED"

( IT'S THE f.a. CUP WE REALLY WANT)

p.s. just checked the press for this story.........nothing. Maybe my mate in UK got it wrong.

Not a bung as such Lampard10 but the FA investigated the "can't play against us" clause that was in the original loan agreement with Everton. When the loan became permanent that clause should have been cancelled. Everton are saying that it was "a gentlemen's agreement" with United that Howard wouldn't feature in the match...

Anyway, I've just copied this from the Sun.. seems the FA are satisfied and case closed.. :o

The Premier League have cleared United of any wrongdoing in the sale of keeper Tim Howard to Everton.

There were claims United had influenced Everton’s team selection by adding a clause in his sale stopping the keeper facing United if the title was still on the line.

So, now for the Cup Final.. I think it'll be a great game.. :D

With all the injuries we've got now, I think we could be putting out a team to match Wednesday evening.

Yeah, that might be cleared up but what about Neville kicking it into his own net, just to make sure :o:D

He did it the odd time for us Mr. B.. and for England if I'm not mistaken.. Still, makes you wonder if United will award him some sort of "medal" as they are for Laarson. :o

(Actually Howardgate surfaced again today in the news, seems it took Scudamore of the FA TEN days to talk Gill out of inserting the "can't play against us" clause in the permanent contract.. Scudamore insisting that it was a total breach of Premier League rules and would be bound to land United in trouble! The mind boggles.. :D )
