Ah, so Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Greece are not southwards.

How long was your Florida visa waiver for? How long is a Thailand visa waiver for for UK passport holders?

You want me to search Google to answer your question about waivers, you're having a laugh.......????

Let me help you a bit. The waiver bit was rhetorical, hoping to lead you to the point that 1. the countries you mention are southward; 2. this thread is about longer than 3 months tourist visa.

Sorry to see you don't understand the topic of the thread.

Clearly this junior French Minister thinks the EU is now the French empire!

Who appointed him to speak for the other 27 members?

Also, in the event of a no deal, the UK does not have to treat EU member states the same if they apply different rules individually to the UK. So much for EU unity.

France like Germany has tried hard to rule Europe. And like Germany, France was thwarted with the assistance of Britain.

Seems those with juvenile mentalities just can't get over that. Or get over Britain not accepting their hypocritical BS.

Toooo... long to put on (symbolic  ???? ) U.K. gravestone .....

????

I see that many Brexiteers are outraged that having left the EU, we are going to be treated the same as other non members!

We've left the EU and unless something dramatic and totally unforeseen happens we'll no longer be covered by the FoM directive from 00:01 on 1/1/21 and instead be dealt with under the Schengen rules the same as all other non EU, EEA and Swiss nationals.

Of course, it'll work the other way, too; those nationals wishing to enter the UK will be dealt with under the UK's immigration rules, not the FoM directive.

Isn't that what you all wanted?
