Trump's conspiracies pose 'existential' threat to electronic voting industry -Smartmatic

Interesting... from your linked article:

Which political party runs most of those states and which presidential candidate did most of those states favor in the recent presidential election?

Anyone else hear Republican "voter fraud" hypocrisy talking here???

And it gets even better... Attention, paging under federal investigation Texas Atty Gen. (and Trump voting fraud shill) Ken Paxton:

It's also a fact that it was Democrats in Congress who repeatedly pushed for improving election security against Republican opposition. Ultimately some got done, but not all. For example, Democrats wanted to make it illegal to connect voting machines to the internet. Republicans were against. Maybe they were hoping for a helping hand from some foreign agency?

It's also useful to note that it was conservatives on the Supreme Court who allowed unlimited amounts of money to be spent on elections.

Social Distancing is the reason for the Biden ralies size....but you already know this....Biden was being responsible where as your Fearless Leader was denying science because it is all about his needs and wants and if somebody gets infected and dies, collateral damage in making america great again...so glad he is on his way out and off to the State of New York for an Orange Jumpsuit.

Why is there a lower age limit for president but no upper age limit.

35 seems a bit high. Iin my opinion 30 for lower and 65 for higher. Or just simply no age limit either way.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -Conspiracy theories alleging that voting machines were used to steal the election from President Donald Trump pose a major threat to the worldwide market for electronic voting systems, the CEO of Smartmatic, a leading provider of such systems, told Reuters.

Good.

Joe Biden has won , so follow your own advice and move on .

Well I am concerned about possible damage from any conspiracy, as I said. But my point is that this company seems to be more concerned about itself than its client.

The only conspiracy is Trump and his cronies trying to disenfranchise millions of legitimate American voters.

So, for the avoidance of any doubt, can you confirm whether or not you are concerned about all of the baseless, untrue claims from Trump and his misinformation machine?

Biden's rallies were more poorly attended because his supporters had more brain cells than Trump's.

Here's a little link for you, demonstrating from July 2020, it became more and more dangerous to live in a Republican state presumably due to the same deficiency.

Well, it's clear that the mascot of Trump supporters should be the lemming. Whereas Biden supporters were as reluctant to attend superspreader events as Biden was to host them.

Crede Bailey, director of security at the White House, has had his leg amputated as a complication of COVID-19. A staunch Trump supporter, his family has started a GoFundMe page to meet high hospital bills. I guess Trump is not coming to that party.

I'm listening to everything I can. But look at this headline for instance: if there are indeed conspiracies, why should anyone care if it hurts a single company? Is the potential damage to the USA not far more important?

But since there weren't, it does seem a bit unfair, no?

Well there's still a bit more than a month ago for Trump to reveal his big beautiful health plan.

I wonder how you can be so sure about that this is might be the "only conspiracy"?

And for the avoidance of any doubt, am I in court now?

Because the courts have repeatedly said so. Whether it's a judge appointed by Bush, Obama or Trump they've all judged the evidence of fraud as lacking credibility.

It is ironic the three Supreme Court judges appointed by Trump all tossed his challenge out without even bothering to hear it.

More like: "The industry's lends itself to abuse in wider attacks on democratic institutions."

I don't think the US 'election was stolen', but the voting machine industry needs to either massively increase transparency or <deleted>. Paper ballots leave better audit trails and counting them couldn't possibly take any longer than this time round...

That about sums up the president and his cult members.  Say or do something they don't agree with, and it's met with violence.

Trump.   The great divider.

Not even close, on the contrary, it is the left who routinely use violence and the threat thereof.

my gosh!  that, shirley, must be fake news!

didn't trump himself promise a bigger, better, badder version of the despised obamacare?

how is it possible then to need a gofundme for medical expenses?

I can't post the link, it's an Australian news website I pay for monthly.
By American standards, it would be a pinky  commie lefty MSM. Regarded as middle of the road in Oz. Except if you ask the Murdoch media.

no, you are not in court.

for the same reason guliani and friends are not in court.

you have nothing but baseless allegations, conspiracy theories, and affidavits.

feelings, guesses, suppositions, maybe-could'a's are not evidence.

not to derail the thread, but i wasn't too pleased with obamacare, co-authored by the insurance industry.  it was a carp program, but not as carp as the entire system.  fortunately my annual expat insurance cost about one month's obamacare fee i'd be paying stateside.  bigly sad that trump didn't take on the health insurance industry instead of starting and losing a trade war with china.

"socialism" might be bad, but something's wrong when a white house staffer, director of security, with all the job benefits that go with that position, needs to gofundme to pay his hospital bill.

Trump frequently accuses the far-left of inciting violence, yet right-wing extremists have killed 329 victims in the last 25 years, while antifa members haven't killed any, according to a new study

  • New research, based on almost 900 politically-motivated plots and murders in the US since 1994, found only one person's death in the last 25 years was linked to "antifa" or anti-fascists, and the person who died was the attacker.
  • In comparison, over that same period, 329 murders were linked to the far-right.
  • When the label was broadened from anti-fascists to left-wing violence, it found 21 victims had been killed since 2010, compared to 117 in right-wing violence in the same time period.
