Thai army suspects illegal workers entered Thailand by sea

 

 

The Thai army suspect most illegal workers entered Thailand by sea. The royal navy is now increasing security along coastal and maritime borders in Ranong province.

 

Royal Thai Armed Forces spokesperson, Lt Gen Chaowalit Sangkarit, asked the public to understand that all officials do their best, but the smuggling networks always find loopholes.

 

Chaowalit said the supreme commander, General Chalermpol Srisawasdi, has ordered every unit to be very strict in enforcing anti-COVID preventive measures and to cancel all social activities during the outbreak.

What a load of rubbish, the Army are making these claim probably to cover up for the fact that they are not patrolling the borders properly.

The border near Aye Chan Thar Yar in Myanmar is wide open, if you can swim a short distance over the upper Kra river you are in Thailand. Almost impossible to close off the border so no illegal immigrants can enter Thailand.

A river? That must be the fault of the navy again, as the army have tried to claim already.

And I suspect that the Burmese came across in trucks driven by Thais while the govt was busy spraying toxic chemicals on 16yo students. Borders were a low priority

You never know, someone might believe them! You'd come to Ranong long before Singapore, have a closer look! A ride from Ranong to Bkk is easy, plenty of enablers!
