The second wave came but it does not seem to be affecting the stock market. I was thinking about going back in but now with the new covid strain I am afraid that if it makes the Vaccines ineffective, the market will tumble again. What you think? PS: I hope like the guy above, you dont wake up after the party and have to reconsider you driving skills . LOL The market is in a bubble for sure, but that can go on for years. The trick is to buy good stocks at a good price. Baba is looking good right now also Tencent, CRM. Mapletree Logistics Trust in Sinagpore is a safe place to park some cash. Thai, Vietnam, China ETF's for sure. 1 1

Popular Post bkk6060
In November, for example, an analyst from Citibank told clients in a note that Bitcoin could reach as high as $318,000 in 2021. Citibank managing director Tom Fitzpatrick cited Bitcoin's historic “unthinkable rallies followed by painful corrections.” Currently, the Citibank executive believes BTC is in the middle of a bull run that appears to be in “what looks like a very well defined channel,” which sets it up for a $318,000 target in December 2021. 16 minutes ago, MeePeeMai said: Bitcoin is $24,688 and climbing It could turn out to be one of the greatest investments in 2021.

Fat is a type of crazy
Working from home.. when you work in a government job having less bureaucracy and wasting time is definitely a good thing. You can do stuff at the same time during phone meetings .. meetings by WebEx you can just chuck on a shirt and there it is. Hopefully it can continue into 2021. Lacessit
Getting back to Thailand in February before everything got locked down. Moving from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai. A sociopath being booted out of the White House. Having a cystoscopy here in October that gave me an all clear. My private health fund in Australia kindly suspending membership and premium payments until I return. Getting very useful medical advice from Sheryl on TV. Making new friends in Chiang Rai.

My self-directed IRA and self directed ROTH IRA (both 100 percent allocated to Bitcoin since the spring of 2017) are certainly smiling this year. Partial conversions from my traditional to my ROTH this year is another thing I will fondly remember about 2020 in the years ahead. Life is good! Guderian
The lack of tourists and the aircraft that fly them around and all the pollution and environmental degradation they cause has been good for the planet. Not so good for people employed by the tourism industry and airlines, though. Swings and roundabouts...
Firefan
Grateful that friends and loved ones are safe. Also that the planet seems to enjoy the break from us! As many have mentioned: The stock and crypto markets have had a great year! So less/no work while investments have been raking it in. Sure; Bitcoin and Tesla have done hundreds of %, but even if one had just bought the global stock market index one would be up 15% YTD. ???? Not bad for a year which feels like it was straight out of a bad Sci-fi movie. Was there not murder hornets too!? For sure the stock bubble needs to deflate - so maybe that is why even more money flow to crypto... Cheers!

4MyEgo
13 years ago we made plans to move here to Thailand, and we made that a reality in 2015 with my wife. During the lockdowns we were making arrangements to return to my homeland, fortunately for us we missed the boat and quarantine was no longer paid by the government, so we would have had to foot the bill and they ended up with Covid-19, still to this day it keeps rearing it's ugly head, whereas here we didn't really see it, because of the lockdowns, that is until recently . 2020 therefore hasn't really affected us, apart from wanting to take our usual annual overseas trip, but I have to admit, I like to socialise a couple of times a week at least, and the lockdowns did my head in, but that's in the past and we are still here as planned, and looking forward to a positive 2021 and onwards, vaccinations and all ????
