We are taking domestic flights within Thailand and worried about potential lockdown.

I don't think another full lockdown is possible. Many Thai's that live hand to mouth would rather die of Covid than lockdown again. Of course the situation is not ideal but there are no stimulus checks coming in Thailand. As I said I am sticking with my travel plans. I already have plans to look at Phuket real estate and hotel reservations. If I thought there was a great risk I would cancel in spite of that, but I believe Covid has always been in Thailand to some degree and I will simply do what I have been doing. Wear a quality mask correctly and consistently, clean my hands often and social distance. While being at an airport definitely increases risk I don't think it is any riskier than being on a bus or BTS these days. I have been on a ventilator before and I know the virus can be deadly serious, but unless you are staying home most of the day there simply is always risk.

  • God who knows what will happen. I would not go anywhere.

  • Maybe do your part and stay home to prevent the spread if the virus? Simple logic always prevails when in doubt.

  • I've cancelled out of a holiday in Hua Hin. If I can't get back to Chiang Rai, and am forced to stay in Hua Hin for a couple of months, that could put a serious dent in the wallet. Bismarck

for that reason weve cancelled our holidays also, rather be stuck at my own home
