As a women I am ask I g myself why are you looking for a Thai girl. Ask Thai girls what is it about these men. Loaded, drunk every day, low life hiding from justice, tax avoiding, easy life with "free" care taking, etc.

I wasn’t just talking about girls from bars and massage parlors and I wasn’t just talking about girls from Thailand, but I was thinking about highly educated girls and girls who are Thai and semi-Thai in the USA and Europe and who grew up outside their home continent.

But farangs do have a special knack in seeking them out and choosing the most unsuitable ones. 
Often with a self belief that they are some “rescuing” her and that she will “change”

Then the farang is again surprised that she isn’t showing enough gratitude for being hooked up permanently with a farang twice her age and weight who struggled to get a woman in his own country, and who can not even converse with any of her friends and family, often with special dietary needs and is a burden on her, unable to even do simple things like give directions to the house etc. He is an embarrassment and unable to fill her sexual/romantic needs and she will get it elsewhere.

 

Meanwhile the said farang sits in Issan, lonely and wallowing in his own self pity and coming up with “theories” about Thais in general and especially Thai women.

The thing that always gets me is how many "experts" there always are on subjects such as this ( not singling 

you out ! )  .     Even a smart guy like rumak had to get some bumps and bruises along the way ( no regrets as

Still amazes me how few really compatible couples i see (  my subjective opinion of course) .   Sometimes i wonder how he can be with HER.   Other times its the other way around ( well, $ is a biggie there)

I still think growing up,  letting go of the I am so great attitude,  learning the language,  AND THEN....... putting some effort into finding what matches with you is the best chance to find a companion.

They do seem to like giving and receiving the “love heart” stickers to each other for their vents and disparaging comments of the Thais on that certain forum. Maybe that stems from the loneliness? They support each other?

There is nothing wrong with being gay, I have a couple of gay people I know who I consider to be good friends, I am all for gay marriage etc. 

But I am not gay, so sending a bloke I have never met before a love heart sticker online just feels a bit off to me, so I am yet to send one. It just doesn’t feel right. A bit weird. These fellas seem to live for them. Which is also quite funny. 

I have never sent a confused or sad sticker either. But I receive them a lot, and am starting to remember names and I see they are from the same people all the time. They seem very sad and confused.

 

Moving to a country and then making disparaging comments on a forum daily about the country’s people is sad. It says more about themselves than the Thais. I am not sure why they put themselves through it all, they should just move, they are not doing anyone any favors being here.

Dansat  in Loei is a centre for spirit mediums and their main gathering is the Ghost Mask festival in June.
