Why bring Mar a largo into it?

You think Trump is making decisions for the country based on his service staff costs.

Try thinking of the bigger picture.

Anyways, so long as you are bashing Trump you are happy at least.

Yes he is making those decisions on his behalf. Maralago is where he lives and makes his money. Its relevant.

though no one knows if he does actually make money.

The 2017 tax bill especially favored 2 classes of business. Real estate and limited partnerships. Those 2 categories apply to most of Trump's businesses. And keep in mind that Trump could have put his businesses in a blind trust. He chose not to.

And it's always a tell that someone doesn't have much in the way of refutation, when they make it personal. I have no idea what makes you happy and could care less.

OK, if you say so, the whole Trump presidency was a ruse.

His only motivation tax cuts for his business empire and a reduction in service staff costs.

un refutable.

More drivel. It is possible to have more than one motivation. Feeding the Kochs and their fellow travelers comes to mind. Aiding Wall Street and the banks. Hostility to organized labor. It's significant that the first environmental rollback of the Trump administration had to do with clean water regulations affecting golf courses. With Trump and so much of the moneyed interests of the right, the strategy is to rile up the masses on hot button issues like abortion and religion in public institutions, while changing the laws to allow themselves to amass every more money. So while the most recent justices appointed to the Supreme court are strongly antiabortion, they are just as strongly pro-corporation and anti-worker. As a recent study pointed out, 50 years of tax cuts for the wealthy which supposedly would lead to trickle down effects uplifting everyone else have done nothing of the sort. Just made the rich richer and with those riches giving them ever more power. Remember it was the right wing members of the Supreme Court who effectively removed the limits on election spending.

How Trump caved on the coronavirus relief bill

Getting a cranky, stubborn President Trump to belatedly sign the COVID relief bill, after unemployment benefits had already lapsed, was like being a hostage negotiator, or defusing a bomb

Ouch!  First over ride of a veto in years.  That's gotta hurt!

House Votes to Override Trump’s Veto of Military Bill

Republicans joined with Democrats to hand President Trump a rare legislative rebuke in the final days of his presidency. The bill will next be taken up by the Senate, where it is expected to pass.

The GOP has lost the plot.  Incredible.  This borders on treason.

Who owns Mar a Lago, and who benefits from every person staying there. Such as SS Agents, the flight crew of Air Force One and all of the other people employed by the US government who actually pay the bills. That cost will be covered by the taxpayer, if there are any left in the USA.

So Trump owns Mar a Largo and they make money from paying guests, amazing. Who would have thought it.

I bet occupancy rates in this property are right at top of Trumps agenda.

Trump is under no compulsion to charge the govt anything for services provided to govt. employees. And do you believe that these secret service "guests" as you style them, have the option of staying at the Hotel 6 down the road?

Meanwhile, when not screwing the people and playing golf, Trump continues to act as if the election will be re-run, by releasing a campaign style video, which claims he won the Nobel Peace Prize.  And people accuse Biden of having dementia.

To be fair, Trump was nominated for the prize, but, as the article mentions, so too were:

"Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Rafael Trjillo, Benito Mussolini, and Josip Broz (better known as Tito)."
