Wouldn't bother with it - it's not a patch on the original 4 part tv series from way back when. Be prepared to be disappointed. Have to say I enjoyed Barbaren and Le Revolution recently. 1 1

Daffy D Posted January 2, 2021 Posted January 2, 2021 Mrs. Biggs (2012) Good 5 part TV series well worth a watch especially for those old enough to remember the actual Great Train Robbery in 1963. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2186101/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0 The true story of Charmian Brent (née Powell), the rebellious product of a strict 1950s upbringing, and her whirlwind romance with Ronald Biggs leading to a descent into crime, most infamously 1963's Great Train Robbery. Available from 1337x and TPB with subs and probably lots of other places 2

Not at all. It was a hell of a robbery, the planning and preparation that went into it was amazing. Even Biggs escape from prison was genius. I'm not advocating crime but it's a shame those guys were let down buy some of their so called "friends" 4 1
Popular Post Daffy D Posted January 4, 2021 Popular Post Posted January 4, 2021 Good fun, unbelievable true story movie:- American Made (2017) With Tom Cruise https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3532216/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0 The story of Barry Seal, an American pilot who became a drug-runner for the CIA in the 1980s in a clandestine operation that would be exposed as the Iran-Contra Affair. Popular Post pixelaoffy Posted January 4, 2021 Popular Post Posted January 4, 2021 Excellent BBC Netflix production . Great how they recreated 1970s Bangkok .. first episode in YouTube. You can find the rest online. True story about a serial killer across SE Asia Liked this quote from Wikipedia about why Thai police didn't pursue the guy in Bangkok when Dutch consulate told them about this criminal and the Thais didn't want to 'damage tourism with the publicity '. Nothing changed in 45 years since "Sobhraj was interrogated by Thai policemen in connection with the murders, but released because authorities feared that the negative publicity accompanying a murder trial would harm the country's tourist industry. Will27 Posted January 5, 2021 Posted January 5, 2021 The Man Who Fell From The Sky This one looks interesting. Available on RARBG. Summary: Desperate migrants stowing in aeroplane landing gear usually ends in tragedy – as in 2015 when a frozen, crushed body hit the ground in south-west London. But there was a second man who survived. Film-maker Richard Bentley’s search for him prompts a long political and spiritual journey. 1
Will27 Posted January 5, 2021 Posted January 5, 2021 24 Hours in Police Custody Part 1 should be available to DL soon. The ticking-clock cop doc returns for a two-parter that seems like a true-crime podcast waiting to happen. A Cambridgeshire woman is accused of trawling dating sites to find someone to kill her ex-husband. DS Mike Barnshaw is tasked with untangling what seems like a black widow web. 1 1

Just sitting here watching it over a bowl of cornflakes. Along with all the episodes of The Serpent, The first episode of The Investigation has appeared with decent quality /subtitles, I’m still enjoying The Witch Hunt. 1
