Flight from Chiang Mai to Bangkok; What's required?

Featured Replies

I'm going to fly to Bangkok on business. I am aware of the Mor Chana app, but do the powers that be require some kind of document justifying the need to travel?

Thanks in advance.

I don't think any document will be needed from CM to BKK. Only a few spots in Bangkok are hot. Try to keep out of those.

Just wondering if anything has changed recently regarding this topic, or can I go home without having to go into quarantine

We have been in Bangkok for almost 2 months owing to my hospitalisation.

Last I heard there were no problems flying into CM from BKK except maybe having to download the Chana App.

Has anyone made this trip in the last week or so or have any further info?

Many thanks

New record,  you have now asked basically the same question 11times.

Anyone flying anywhere for the foreseeable future should figure on quarantine and bless good luck if it is avoided.  They can change the rules while you are airborne.

Oh right, question everything at least a dozen times and take no risks.  What a life that would be.  What a world that would be.

A ticket. Pass thru security. Obey the ground and cabin staff.

Don't even need legs as wheelchairs are available

He's been sick with something serious;  he's away from home. In a land where the laws vary all over the map for travel during the Covid plague, he is exercising  due  diligence in getting home safely.

Have a heart.

Thanks for your support.

I am impervious to any snide remarks that I have become  victim to on Thai Visa.

Like you I have been here many years.

There are some spiteful posters on here, things ain't what they used to be on TV. I find my best recourse is to block these people.

Since when are those flying domestic from departure and arrival points within Thailand being subjected to quarantine?
