I agree that most Thai "chef" cannot cook better than me, even if I was using feet.

They know nothing and seem so proud about it ! no need to try to improve anything !

To the OP: if it's not to your liking, go somewhere else. Be adventurous and try other restaurants. Sooner or later you're bound to find a place you like. 

 

When I'm served a dish I don't like, I just think of all the people worldwide who have nothing to eat and am grateful I'm not one of 'em. That usually fixes that problem.
